As you wake up you immediately step outside your lakehome overlooking Leech Lake. As your bare feet step on the grass the light layer of dew invigorates your senses for the day. As you admire the sun creeping up the horizon on the Lake your wife sneaks up behind you with a cup of coffee. It’s 6:30am, there is no other place you’d rather be. You and your wife whip up a hearty breakfast and even though it’s vacation you eat rather quickly as you’re excited to meet the Fishing Guide in a half hour.
Heading out on Leech Lake to catch some Walleye is going to be the highlight of the day. After first introductions and instructions you’re on the boat, ready to be directed to the best spot to catch some fish. After a full morning on the lake your wife has caught the biggest Walleye, but luckily enough everyone has reeled one in.
Your guide cleans and bags the fish, all you need to do is bring it to Beachfire Bar and Grille. After speaking with the chef, you decide to go swimming in the lake for an hour while lunch is made. The water is a refreshing temperature as you float around in the calm water. The weather is gorgeous this time of year. After a refreshing swim, you head back to the restaurant for lunch. That big Walleye tastes amazing accompanied with all the fixings. Next up is a round of golf at one of the local courses.

After a solid couple of hours on the links, you head back to Leech Lake’s shoreline. It’s been a long day, and you’re famished, so the next stop is Beachfire Bar and Grille. The beer battered onion rings are the classic item on the menu, the only way to start dinner. After finishing your main course the wait staff clears the table, but you decide to continue to sit on the patio, enjoying the beautiful view of Leech Lake.
Nighttime has fallen, the glistening stars reflect off the lake leading you back to your lakehome. You and your wife decide to sit outside in the cool nighttime air. What a great day.
